Our client is a certified partner and provider of end-to-end SAP services and solutions. Their expertise within the SAP industry allows them to generate custom roadmaps for SAP cost reduction and provide industry-leading solutions to their diverse range of clients. Their overall aim is to support SMEs around the globe in facilitating and improving business operations whilst streamlining processes and utilising SAP solutions. Due to their recent success and continued determination to grow their UK offering, we have been tasked with searching for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their growing team.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, this is a critical role for our client’s success and continued growth. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced individual who has a passion for sales to take on a pivotal role in generating leads and securing sales appointments. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to research and prospect potential clients within specific industries across the UK. You will be responsible for engaging with- and developing- strong relationships with these prospective clients, providing them with detailed insight into the range of products and services, and scheduling face-to-face meetings and online demonstrations for the sales team. Ultimately, you will play a fundamental part in the future growth of this business and as such will be rewarded with a generous commission structure, excellent training, and further development.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound B2B telephone calls to specific target industries.
  • Researching prospective B2B clients, evaluating their needs and promoting our client’s products and services.
  • Generating leads and populating internal CRM system.
  • Planning and booking F2F meetings and online demonstrations with prospective clients.
  • Proactively building and maintaining strong working relationships with all potential clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales targets and KPIs.

 

THE CANDIDATE

  • Previous experience in a telephone-based sales role is essential.
  • Motivated by success and hugely target driven; able to work towards sales and KPI targets.
  • Confident, with the ability to handle objections.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage your workload and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Focused on self-learning and development – constantly looking for ways to improve and gain further success.
