Internal Trainer

THE ROLE

  • Based in Harrogate - Hybrid Working(3 days in the office)
  • £28,000 - £34,000 pa, dependent on experience
  • 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays

The Internal Trainer will play a pivotal role in the creation and delivery of internal training requirements. The most immediate training requirements include Communication, Telephone Skills, Email Etiquette, Sales, Behavioural & Values, Diversity and Emotional Intelligence, although this will likely develop over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess internal training needs and understand departmental requirements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and develop training programs in alignment with organisational goals, departmental needs, and employee skill gaps.
  • Continually create and update training materials to support learning outcomes for the business.
  • Deliver training sessions for colleagues at all levels, employing diverse methodologies to ensure impactful learning results.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging learning trends, best practices and techniques and incorporating them to continually improve our client’s offering.
  • Maintaining accurate records of development activities, attendance, and evaluations to ensure colleague competence and progress.
  • Offer continuous support and guidance to employees, encompassing training, coaching, and mentoring, to reinforce our client’s values of self-accountability, learning, and development.
  • Assist the Head of Employee Development in all aspects of ongoing organisational development.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record as an effective trainer/facilitator.
  • Demonstrable experience creating engaging training content and supporting materials (presentations, handouts, manuals, etc.)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and public speaking skills, with the capability to engage learners effectively.
  • Qualifications in Learning and Development or knowledge of DISC (desirable).
  • Are a UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
