Head of Marketing - SaaS

  • £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, negotiable DOE
  • 5% Yearly Bonus

Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS business, is searching for a results-driven Head of Marketing to report into and work closely with the Group Marketing Director in influencing, developing, and ultimately implementing the overall marketing strategy.  The successful candidate will play a key role across two of the key business segments, and bring fresh ideas, a creative mindset, and consistent delivery of impactful campaigns that focus on increasing revenue and new customer acquisition.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Plan, develop and execute lead-nurturing campaigns to convert B2B prospects into customers.
  • Copy: Produce engaging and SEO-optimised content/assets, promoting the SaaS product portfolio to relevant target audiences, translating technical features into value & clear benefits.
  • Digital: Manage and optimise digital marketing activities across website, email and social media.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Analyse & Optimise: Analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights and optimising campaigns where necessary.
  • AI: Leverage AI tools effectively, whilst maintaining quality and a consistent tone of voice across all marketing channels.
  • SEO: Own the SEO strategy and aim to improve organic traffic, reporting SEO & Content performance to the SLT.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a B2B Marketing Manager, Generalist Marketing Manager, or similar is essential.
  • Experience within a SaaS or Agency environment is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving organic traffic and lead generation through content marketing.
  • A sound understanding of full-funnel marketing, able to generate results in niche markets (field-service related industries is preferable).
  • Excellent communicator with strong writing and editing abilities.
  • Competent with SEO tools (Semrush, GA4), marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Intercom) and CMS systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
  • A strategic thinker and creative storyteller, able to translate technical concepts into compelling campaigns.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to take ownership and drive forward processes with strong attention to detail.
  • Commercially focused with a results-driven mindset.
