Matt Pallister

Executive Director

Matt's Role

Matt sits on Marmion’s board as an Executive Director. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business whilst working alongside Janet on our business strategy, specifically future growth.

This involves ongoing training and development of the existing team who continue to make a significant impact on the clients and candidates we support.

Matt oversees each part of the recruitment process to ensure that our consultants are able to effectively consult whilst establishing strong, long-term relationships with both employers and candidates.

Prior to Marmion

Matt started his career within estate agency in his hometown of Harrogate, whilst studying towards additional qualifications.

He loved property and took to it quickly, building excellent relationships with landlords, tenants, and suppliers. It was here where he knew he had the drive and ability to have a successful career.

What Matt Pallister brings to the team

Matt’s career to-date has provided him with a broad range of skills which allow him to adapt to any situation within the business. Matt is a quick logistical and big picture thinker, enabling him to deal with both the day-to-day operations whilst focusing on long-term strategy.

More importantly Matt’s own standards, both professional and ethical, are very much aligned to Marmion’s own, ensuring that he will maintain the integrity and reputation of its recruitment service, now and in the future.

Working at Marmion

Matt’s eagerness to continuously build his knowledge base, learn new skills and overcome obstacles led him to a career in recruitment.

Knowing how challenging and interesting the recruitment industry could be from connections in the industry, he knew Marmion would be the right move and fit for him. Since joining Marmion in early 2017, Matt has progressed his career internally whilst contributing towards Marmion’s growth as a business.

He has worked towards CPD each year and has completed qualifications & courses to ensure that he is up to date with industry regulations and best practice, resulting in Matt becoming a fully qualified Associate member of The British Institute of Recruiters.

Matt’s aim now is to focus on our growth strategy, whilst ensuring there is no compromise to the quality of service being delivered to Marmion’s clients and candidates.

Marmion are fantastic. So responsive, friendly and extremely helpful
