Jonny McPartland

Managing Consultant

Jonny's Role

As Managing Consultant at Marmion, my role combines hands-on recruitment, along with supporting the operational leadership and ongoing team development. I recently led the implementation of our new CRM/ATS platform, which has helped to drive our process and ensure candidate/client satisfaction. Now, I’m focusing on mentoring and supporting our consultants whilst continuing to build our presence across Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution, and Technology.

My approach to recruitment has always been focused on people first. It’s not just about filling jobs, it’s about understanding what makes people and businesses tick and finding the right fit for both. By taking the time to really get to know my clients and candidates, I can provide honest, ethical, and effective recruitment support that leads to long-term relationships and genuine results.

Prior to Marmion

I spent over a decade in the hospitality industry, working across a variety of roles from village pubs to busy bars in Sydney, and later management with Arc Inspirations. This hospitality experience taught me a lot about people and the value of communication and teamwork. It gave me countless skills that all play a part in how I work today.

What Jonny McPartland brings to the team

A lot of resilience and work ethic. No matter what curveball is thrown, I just try to keep going! I love to learn about business and I’m a very process focused person. I like to think I also bring a positive attitude, plenty of energy, and the odd bit of humour to the team. I’m also a huge music fan, so I take the role of office DJ very seriously!

Working at Marmion

Marmion is a great place to work. We’re constantly encouraged to continue developing ourselves; every consultant has passed the REC Level 3 Diploma in Recruitment & Certificate in Principles of Recruitment Practice with a distinction. It’s great to be part of a business that puts so much focus on developing people to be the best they can be. I’ve been given incredible opportunities her to grow professionally and take on new challenges, and now I’m getting to help support others to develop their own careers. I’m really excited about the direction we’re heading in and proud to be part of a team that’s making a real difference.
