Business Development Manager - Marketing Agency

  • Leeds Office
  • Hybrid Working (3 days in the office)

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be a UK resident residing within a commutable distance to Leeds. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create strategies to identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services.
  • Build relationships with new prospects, gauging their needs, and developing appropriate proposals.
  • Support the transition of new clients into the Account Management and Operational functions, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, taking an active involvement in procurement processes.
  • Create sales forecasts and actively work towards achieving them.
  • Build a strong understanding of our client’s services within their industry, attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create compelling proposals and support on the creation and execution of sales presentations/pitches.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on lead generation activities, subsequently track all activity at a campaign level, utilising the CRM system to support further nurturing activity.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Business Development role in an agency environment is essential.
  • Knowledge of lead generation techniques across multiple channels and platforms,
  • Ability to identify and nurture sales opportunities.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach to work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
