OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a 360 digital marketing agency based at the epicentre of a 150-year-old group organisation. The agency services all 22 limited companies consolidated into 12 brands sat under the group umbrella, within a wide range of industries and sectors including: Logistics, Energy, Property, and more. As a result of the wider transformation and growth strategy, this agency has been born with the main aim to turn this well-established group into a digital-first powerhouse.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

This candidate will work closely with the Chief Data Officer and the wider marketing team, delivering high-quality and visually stunning web-designs with the aim to build websites for each of the brands under the group umbrella, using the latest technologies (Figma and Webflow), to detailed project timescales. You will be dynamic, experienced, and ambitious, with the understanding that with transformation and innovation, an element of risk is involved, so a willingness to embracing change is an essential characteristic for this candidate.

 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using the Figma design software to create visually stunning web-designs for each brand/company, utilising pre-set brand guidelines, and adding to/developing where necessary.
  • Use customer insights to ensure each design is geared towards UX best practices.
  • Work cross-departmentally with product and marketing teams to ensure goals and visions are captured in initial briefs.
  • Ensure each design is technically feasible for development.
  • Present designs to stakeholders, describing and justifying each element in terms of customer behaviour and interactions.
  • Import completed design packages onto the Webflow platform for site build, more complex websites to be passed on to the development team for completion.
  • Develop design skills on an ongoing basis, keep up-to-date with latest technology updates to ensure the chosen softwares are used to the peak of their capabilities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years’ experience within a web-design role.
  • Experience using Figma is essential, with a portfolio showcasing website designs.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory.
  • Experience with working collaboratively with designers, developers, and project managers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present and justify design ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to, and understanding of why, working to strict deadlines is integral to this role.
  • Understanding of UI responsiveness (devices, etc) is desired.
  • Illustration, animation, and video editing are non-essential but would be strong asset.
