£40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Microsoft Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in a variety of ongoing web/enterprise technology transformational projects across the multi-site group. This role offers a huge amount of exposure to the Microsoft Azure & Dynamics 365 platforms, with long-term projects including Enterprise Service Bus, data-warehousing, and core business systems integrations using cloud-based technologies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with the Microsoft Lead to design, develop and implement strategies for integrating with existing enterprise applications.
Deliver the full lifecycle of greenfield integration projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Build and maintain custom solutions using .Net 8 and C# in Microsoft Azure cloud-native environments
Write clean, well-structured, and testable code that aligns with development standards.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce duplication, and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
Create and maintain documentation of integration processes, customisations, and best practices.
Ensure all solutions comply with data privacy, security, and governance standards.
Test, and where necessary resolve integration and application issues.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas for the business’ digital strategy.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Previous Microsoft development experience using .Net 6 onwards.
Excellent communication skills, and comfortable working within a collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.

DESIRABLE:

Projects: Large scale integrations/migrations of core business systems.
Integration Technologies: Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos Db, Service Bus
Data Integration Techniques: RESTful Aps, webhooks, ETL
Frameworks: .Net 6 onwards, xUnit, Bicep
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Power Platform Dataverse
Deployment Tools: Git, Docker, GitHub Actions, Bicep
Back-end Development: C#, .Net 8
Data warehousing, Enterprise Service Bus
Microsoft Certifications such as Azure Developer (AZ-204), Azure DevOps (AZ-400), or equivalent.
ITIL environment and multi-site rollout experience.
Front-end Development: HTMX, CSS, React, Alpine.js, and/or Tailwind
Node.js and JavaScript experience.
