  • Uncapped Commission Structure (10% of salary Year 1 OTE, 25% of salary Year 2 OTE)

CANDIDATE BRIEF

You will play a fundamental role in our client’s defined strategy for growth. Tasked with building your own team of Outbound Sales Consultants who will be critical in generating new business leads and sales opportunities for the wider sales team, you will mentor and inspire your team to achieve increased customer acquisition and revenue growth. Our client is happy to consider someone who has demonstrable experience as a Sales Manager, or someone who has Team Leader/Mentorship experience within a sales environment, and is now ready to take that next step in their career under the guidance of an experienced CEO & Acting Sales Director.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, leading and coaching an internal sales team, continuously providing feedback to aid the development of the sales team
  • Driving the day-to-day sales performance within the team by setting objectives, coaching and performance monitoring to achieve daily sales objectives and monthly revenue/KPI targets.
  • Analysing team performance, recognising areas for training and improvement, and implementing personal development plans.
  • Establishing professional relationships with key personnel, both internally and externally.
  • Promoting and encouraging a supportive team culture, working collaboratively with the BDM team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstratable people management experience in an outbound sales environment with excellent mentoring and coaching skills, be that as a Team Leader or Sales Manager.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and easily with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build and promote a positive team culture and adopt the ethos of the wider business.
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools.
