Skin Care Specialist

  • Harrogate based
  • £25,000 – £29,000 (pro-rata)
  • Up to 30 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday)
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays  
  • 3 free treatments per annum
  • Discounts on treatments and products

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for skincare and a keen interest in providing personalised treatment plans. You’ll excel in analysing client needs and delivering a variety of advanced skincare treatments tailored to achieve outstanding results.

Your confidence, coupled with your ability to deliver a bespoke service, will help you grow an already established client base and solidify your reputation as a trusted skincare expert.

This role suits someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering excellence at every client interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting thorough skin assessments to determine patient needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Perform various skincare, including hydrafacials, peels, ipl's, vein treatments and Hifu.
  • Educate clients on skincare routines and products tailored to their skin type.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with patients through effective communication and outstanding customer service.
  • Advising clients on skincare products and treatments to meet their needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in skincare and laser treatments to provide informed recommendations.
  • Laser qualification preferable but willing to study and gain qualifications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the skincare industry. 
  • NVQ Level 2-3 in Beauty Therapy
  • Have a keen interest in and keen to develop further knowledge in anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to assess clients' skin concerns and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
  • Adherence to proper hygiene and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others achieve their skincare goals.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in skincare and laser.
  • UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
