Software Project Consultant

  • Up to £60,000 pa, dependent on experience
  • Company Car/Car Allowance
  • Field Based/Remote – Occasional meetings in Tamworth office
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + 1 extra day each year (up to 30 days)

Reporting into the Consultancy Manager, you will be a key member of the implementation team, delivering software onboarding and training projects for new customers whilst providing consultancy services to existing customers. Working alongside a Project Manager, your consultancy services will cover system set-up, configuration and implementation alongside end user training.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding customers business objectives and requirements to provide appropriate product requirements for successful onboarding.
  • Undertaking system implementation and configuration for customers, providing training to all end-users, both super users and day-to-day system users.
  • Assisting in the creation of digital learning content for a new eLearning platform taking into consideration different learning styles, to enhance the implementation process and to encourage self-serve learning.
  • Ensuring projects are well defined with clear and agreed deliverables in place.
  • Recording time for all consultancy work delivered during projects.
  • Ensure consultancy services provide customers with viable solutions to challenges, documenting and reporting all consultancy and training sessions.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhance the customer experience.

THE CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience of providing consultancy and training services alongside delivering software implementation projects within the fleet industry. You will be able to build strong relationships with customers and have a passion for delivering exceptional results. As customer relationships are key to the success of this role, you will be required to spend time meeting with clients face-to-face on a regular basis.

We’d love to speak to candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience providing consultancy, configuration and system training in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of customer business process analysis and requirement gathering.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering successful software implementation projects.
  • Exceptional communication and client facing skills, able to build and develop strong relationships.
  • Are highly creative, innovative, and literate, with demonstrable experience having produced top quality training programmes and materials (including video content).
  • Experience of using and setting up Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Customer journey experience, with an understanding of learning styles.
  • Are dynamic and adaptable to change within an ever-evolving commercial business environment.
  • Knowledge of the fleet/leasing industry (desirable).
  • A full driving licence is essential.
