  • 28 days holiday, Company Pension
  • Opportunity to grow and progress within a stable, ethical business
  • A role with real responsibility and variety

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role at the centre of a small but busy operation. You’ll help keep the business running smoothly day to day, from processing orders and invoices, to supporting customers, to assisting with stock and warehouse tasks when required. The business operates with seasonal peaks across wholesale and retail, so the ability to prioritise and stay calm during busy trading periods is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer orders, creating sales orders, and raising invoices.
  • Ensuring the customer order journey runs smoothly from order through dispatch and invoicing.
  • Maintaining company records, policies, and procedures, handling data entry and company databases.
  • Providing exceptional customer service; answering incoming calls, managing emails, resolving queries, and keeping customers up to date.
  • Supporting the warehouse team with stock control and quality checks.
  • Supporting the wider team across a variety of admin, stock, product & logistics tasks.

Because the team is small, roles naturally overlap. This would suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being a key part of how a business operates.

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience within a distribution, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in order processing, invoicing, customer service and administration.
  • A natural problem solver with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written; confident dealing with queries over phone and email.
  • Highly organised with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
  • Prior use of order processing/ERP systems: Sage, ShipStation, etc.
